NOVIA 236 is an AM audio processor: DSP 3-band mono AM, with analogue, AES, and streaming in and out, NRSC compliance, and a web interface. It is designed for medium-wave monophonic AM transmission.
It combines slow AGC, gain-riding, syllabic consistency levelling, four stages of parametric equalisation, three bands of dynamic-range compression with variable crossovers, brick-wall bandwidth limiting, and a splash-free final peak controller that supports asymmetric carrier modulation.
Besides quick front-panel setup, the IP interface streams two-way programmes and gives full remote control from any PC or mobile device. SNMP is supported. Programme-audio fault alarms close local contacts and send SMS or email to selected people. Alarms are also logged. Ten factory presets and ten user presets simplify setup.
NOVIA 236 accepts programme-line and streaming inputs and allows remote IP audio monitoring. The web interface configures and controls the unit from a PC, tablet, or smartphone.
